DBS API Integration

Our bespoke API integrates directly with your system to automate your DBS checks.

APCS have developed a bespoke API allowing your company to have your own DBS application system and then to submit completed applications and retrieve disclosure results via our API. Having access to our fast turnaround times will allow your company to make faster, more informed recruitment decisions. Development of the API will incur a charge which will depend upon the exact services required. This will be discussed between you and our development team.

When should I use API for DBS checks?

An API is suitable for those wishing to develop their own tailored DBS vetting system whilst utilising speed and efficiency of the APCS system to submit and retrieve DBS information. We would recommend the API to those conducting a large amount of applications per year.

What do I need to use the API?

In order to be able to use the API, your software development team must have firm understanding of Web APIs and XML or JSON.
