Digital Right to Work Checks

Ensuring that all of your employees have the right to work in the UK is a legal requirement for organisations of every size and sector. With our Digital Right to Work Checks, you can make consistent, reliable, and quick verifications while reducing the administrative burden.

The Benefits of Digital Right to Work Checks

  • Remote Verification – Our certified Identity Services Provider (IDSP) status enables you to remotely verify the Right to Work status of potential employees. Say goodbye to time-consuming manual checks and embrace the convenience of digital verification.
  • Compliance Assurance – Our Digital Right to Work Checks are designed to comply with UK Home Office guidance, helping you establish a statutory excuse and protect your organisation from illegal working penalties. We stay up-to-date with any changes in Home Office Right to Work regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Secure Data Handling – We prioritise the security and privacy of sensitive personal information. Our encrypted systems allow you to securely store employee data, ensuring that it remains protected and accessible only when needed.

How Digital Right to Work Checks work

  1. Digital Identity Verification – Our certified IDSP verifies the identity of UK and Irish citizens through the use of Identity Document Validation Technology (IDVT). This digital verification process ensures accuracy and compliance with Home Office guidelines.
  2. Report Generation – Upon successful verification, we provide you with a comprehensive report that includes an image of the candidate’s passport and metadata, confirming certification of Right to Work status. You can securely store this report on our encrypted systems or access it through our portal for easy candidate management.

What documentation will the candidate require?

A digital right to work check can only be carried out with a valid UK or Irish passport.
