The Apostille is a certificate of authenticity that, once attached to a document, means there is no need for any further authentication of the document when presented in another country.
In the UK, the Apostille is issued by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO). It is a small certificate affixed with adhesive to the back of the document that needs to be legalised, such as a criminal record check certificate. Each Apostille is signed, dated, stamped and given a unique reference number by the FCO.
The Apostille is recognised in over 90 countries but it is important for you to check the exact requirements of the organisation in the country you are dealing with, whether you need a document certified by a solicitor or by a notary prior to us sending it to the FCO for the Apostille certificate.

The cost of the Apostille is £60.80 and our turnaround time is currently approximately 2 weeks. We will post the certificate out to any address in the world with your chosen postage option. You can also request that we scan the certificate and the Apostille via email before we post it out to you.
Unfortunately, due to changes in legislation taking effect from 1st January 2018, we are no longer able to process basic criminal record checks for individuals that live or work in England or Wales.
