What is a credit check?

The data in a credit report comes from multiple credit referencing agencies and includes any County Court Judgments (CCJs), Individual Voluntary Arrangement, personal bankruptcies, administration orders and insolvencies in the last 6 years.

Can I employ someone based on their credit report?

If the report comes back as medium or high risk, you have the right to refuse employment to a potential employee as their current financial situation could impact their ability to perform in their job role.
